Snowboard Para Team:

The Para Snowboard Team is currently in Ushuaia, Argentina—the southernmost city in the world—for an SBX (Snowboard Cross) training camp. They arrived on August 15th and will be based here until August 30th, making the most of the Southern Hemisphere’s winter conditions. The training course has proven to be a valuable challenge, especially the start section, which has pushed athletes to sharpen their technique and timing early in their runs.

A total of seven athletes have made the trip, taking advantage of the opportunity to train on snow while much of the Northern Hemisphere is still in off-season. Despite the weather being a bit wet and windy at times, the snow conditions have remained solid, allowing for productive sessions on course. Spirits are high as the team continues to build form and confidence in this unique and remote training environment and are stoked for this opportunity to train on a solid course.

Big Mountain Team:

It’s mid-August, so rightfully so, everyone is starting to think about snow already. Kaito ended up going to South America a couple of weeks ago where he competed in his first-ever U19 competition and took the win! Next year is looking promising and we are excited to have 7 athletes on the team, all coming in with their own style and energy on the mountain. – Coach Miles
