Freeride May Update
Team Registration and Program Changes
This year, we are requiring all part-time athletes to sign up for their training schedule of choice at registration. We will have Saturday/Sunday, Friday/Saturday, and Friday/Sunday options for part-time U15 and U19 athletes. Due to the smaller group size, we are only able to offer a Friday/Saturday training option for U12s. This year, Woodward will be available as an additional training option for both part-time and full-time athletes.

Mt Hood Camp
Due to low interest, the Freeride Mt Hood training camp is cancelled for this year. We’re hoping to generate more interest in summer skiing opportunities in the future.
Summer Woodward Training
Registration for summer Woodward training will open with team registration on June 1st. The cost is $200 and includes 8 Wednesday evening sessions, 5:00-7:00 pm, July 9th-August 27th. Athletes must have inline skates to participate in summer Woodward training.
U19 Strength and Conditioning
Tuesday evening sessions begin July 8th at the team gym. Strength training needs to begin well ahead of ski season to be effective in preventing injuries and increasing performance. All U19 athletes are encouraged to participate in strength training.
Team Hikes
Monthly weekend team hikes will be scheduled for each age group beginning in July. The schedule will be posted in Team Snap. The destination will be a different peak each month.
