Ellen is a senior member of the SBSEF community.  She has been involved as a parent, volunteer, member of the Board of Directors and staff.  She manages the community and special events for the team.  Her three children are alumni of the SBSEF Alpine program, and there is a granddaughter on her way to becoming a Devo.

Ellen grew up in Illinois and was delighted to move to Utah in order to attend the U.  She graduated with degrees in Math and Physics and enjoyed a first career as an applied mathematician and software developer before taking some time off to raise her children.  She is an avid skier, hiker and mountain biker.
