Alpine Devos

The Devo team is the youngest age class program in SBSEF, offering an introduction to alpine ski racing and all-mountain skiing. The goal of this program is to provide an enjoyable learning opportunity for young skiers while improving their skiing skills and meeting other young skiers. Devo athletes develop a love for skiing while learning to ski in all-mountain terrain and snow conditions. Snowbird’s diverse mountain paired with technical coaching and race training provides young skiers with a well-rounded experience.

Athlete Age: 7-10 (2017, 2016, 2015, 2014)

Athlete Experience:

Skiers joining the Devo team are expected to be able to ski parallel on expert/groomed black diamond runs at Snowbird.
Skiers must be able to get on and off the chairlift independently or ask for help from the lift attendant.
Skill Assessments will be held to ensure athletes are capable of participating in the program in December.

Program includes:

Saturday and/or Sunday training January-Mid April
Devo Team Events hosted at Snowbird

Note: Our team is FULL for the 2024-25 season.

Program Options & Tuition

2024-2025 Devo Program Options:

1 Day Team: $2050
2 Day Team: $3000

Add-on Options:

YSL Team: $900 add-on

** YSL team requires the head coach's permission to add on to the 1 or 2-day program.

Additional Expenses & Explanations:

Pass: $340 Snowbird Team Seasons Pass w/Tram, available in November *price is for 2024-25 season
Home races - no cost.
YSL Finals may be added to our competition calendar, additional costs for USSS temporary membership, lift tickets and entry will apply, attendance will not be required.
Transition team (+$900):
- YSL: Train 13 weekdays and attend a South Series & YSL Race (3-holiday camp, 10 Friday afternoons) USSS competitor license not included
