Fall dryland for both the U15 and U19 age groups begins September 2nd and continues through early November. Dryland attendance is highly encouraged for all athletes as their schedules allow. We recognize that many athletes have busy schedules and participate in other sports; however, ski-specific training along with developing strength, coordination, and agility will significantly enhance performance and contribute to a successful and injury-free season for all athletes. 

U15 Dryland Schedule:

  • Tuesdays 4:30-6:30 pm– Hiking and mountain biking (various locations)
  • Wednesdays 4:30-6:00 pm-Strength training at the Utah Olympic Park
  • Thursdays 4:30-6:00 pm-Field workouts and games at Oakridge Elementary

U19 Dryland Schedule:

  • Tuesdays 3:30-5:00 pm-Strength training at the SBSEF Gym
  • Wednesdays 4:30-6:00 pm-Field workouts and games at Sugarhouse Park
  • Fridays- 3:30-5:00 pm-Strength training at the SBSEF Gym

Additionally, weekend hikes are planned for both age groups throughout the fall. The next scheduled hikes are Hidden Peak/Baldy for the U15 group on August 23rd and Mt Superior for the U19 group on August 30th. Parents are welcome to join the weekend hikes. See Team Snap for the full schedule. 

Our summer Woodward training program wraps up on August 27th. The athletes who signed up and have been participating regularly throughout the summer have seen noticeable improvements in their air and body awareness along with significant balance improvements on inline skates. Winter Woodward training will begin in early December.
