In Skimo news the Wasatch Powderkeg and USA Skimo National Championships were held at Solitude March 1st-3rd. Unfortunately, due to the event filling very quickly none of our athletes were able to participate. Next year we hope to have some of our athletes racing at the Powderkeg along with some of the best Skimo racers from around the country.

The final Tuesday night Utah Skimo race was held at Park City on March 12th with warm temperatures and heavy wet snow. After a season of racing in the dark everyone appreciated being able to start and complete the first half of the race without headlamps. The final Skimo practice for the season will be on March 26th. Thank you to U16 Alpine coach Justin Chardavoyne for filling in as our Skimo coach for the month.
