Kevin Chaffee

Kevin grew up skiing and racing in the Northeast but has been living, working, and enjoying the West for over 35 years. He has been coaching with the Snowbird Ski Team since 1990. During that time, Kevin has worked with every age group, U12 to Masters, from rookies to US Ski Team members. “Building a better understanding of our sport, athletics, and the competitive spirit has been a passion for me as long as I can remember. Figuring out how to pass that on is awesome! I learn something new almost every day.”

Kevin is a US Ski & Snowboard level 400 certified coach and has worked on numerous Regional and National level projects. He has also been a fully certified ski instructor and PSIA examiner and clinic leader. In the off-season, Kevin is involved with our SBSEF conditioning program and summer ski camps and working on his golf game. He has 2 sons who grew up racing in the SBSEF family.
