Bo Maciejko
Alpine Director
Head Coach - Jfast
I grew up in Colorado skiing at Crested Butte skiing for the Crested Butte Ski Club. Much like Snowbird, Crested Butte is a skier’s mountain and I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been part of a ski community that championed winter sports and helped me foster a passion for skiing. After high school, I attended Western Colorado University where I was able to compete collegiately at the NCAA level. I was team captain my senior year as well as earned academic All-American honors.
In 2008, I moved to Salt Lake City to take a job as a High School English teacher. For the last 15 years, I have been coaching, First as a part-time coach with SBSEF, as well as Head FIS coach in La Parva Chile in the summer. In 2016 I took over as the head U10/U12 Jfast coach. In 2022 I was named Intermountain Division’s coach of the year. Most recently I was promoted SBSEF’s Alpine program director.
Little Cottonwood Canyon is an environment that fosters some of the best all-around skiers in the country. As both a coach and program director I aim to help athletes reach their full potential by creating a culture in which young athletes believe in themselves and their ability to reach the biggest goals.
