Aniken (pronounced “On-ah-kin”) grew up ski racing in the Mad River Valley in northern Vermont and raced her first year in college before moving out to Tahoe to do a gap year! In Tahoe she coached for Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley) for 2 years, and then moved to Salt Lake City to finish her degree at the U. While going to school, she instructed and coached at Alta for 3 seasons and loved getting to know the Little Cottonwood community. She later found her way to nursing, and now works as a nurse at Huntsman Cancer Institute. She likes to paint and make art, bike and run around the Wasatch in her free time. She’s excited to be back coaching and having fun with kids on snow!
