Below are links to the video files. The presentation is broken into 4 video files that can be watched in sequence to make up the entire presentation. They are labeled so you can find your group easily as well. The files are still pretty large due to a lot of videos and photos.
There is also a link to the slides in a .pdf that you can see. But it lacks all the speaking and video and animation, which is the best part!

Devo Team: Sundance Fun and Success!

Wow! What a great weekend! The powder was great, too! We can't say the drive was great... but everyone made it to the race! Thank you to all the parents and coaches for supporting our Devo athletes!

2014-15 Freeride Highlights

Our Freeride Team was once again a strong contender on the IFSA Junior Freeskiing Series. 5 out of the 8 Americans who qualified to represent the United States at the World Junior Freeskiing Championships in Andorra, Spain, were members of our team: Jacqueline Pollard, Jessica Sterrett, Justin Carpenter. Seth Klein, and Edie Mason. Congratulations to Jacqueline Pollard for winning the World Jr Title.

2014-15 Snowboard Highlights

Brenna Huckaby, named to the US Paralympic Snowboard Team, won the World Championships in Spain. Teammates Nicole Roundy and Fatu Matagi, also members of the US Team, took 3rd and 4th at the Worlds.

In Bordercross, Alyssa Dolgin won the USSA Rev Tour again this season. Schuyler “Skyler” McFall qualified for Junior Worlds in China, and placed 14^th. He also won Canadian National Junior Championship.

2013-14 Intermountain Division Awards

2014 IMD Coach of the Year: Veteran (25 years coaching SBSEF) FIS Alpine Head Coach Kevin Chaffee was awarded the 2014 Intermountain Division Coach of the Year at the IMD Convention due to the outstanding success of Snowbird’s FIS Alpine Team during the 2013-14 season.

2014 IMD Alpine Official of the Year: Tami Strong was awarded the 2014 IMD Official of the Year for her tremendous contribution as a race organizor and official for SBSEF, IMD, USSA, FIS, and Freeride events.

2013-14 Snowboard Team Highlights

Our Snowboard Team competed alongside the National Teams at the Junior Worlds, IFSA North American Championships, USASA National Championships, and Grand Prix events, and had multiple podiums in several age categories. Scooter Cooper and Olivia Hansen each podiumed in the Junior Tour World Championships. Anna Miller won the USASA National Junior Division title. At the North American Championships Tucker Pratt was the runner up in the 12-14 year olds, and Henry Storm placed 3rd in the 15-18 year old division.

2013-14 Freeride Highlights

Our Freeride Ski Team dominated the ISFA Junior Freeskiing Series once again this season. SBSEF athletes took home both the 15-18 Male and Female Overall ISFA Series titles, won by Jessica Sterrett and Martin Lenz. At the North American Championships we had 5 skiers on the podium. Jessica and Martin each won, and Hank Bates, Edie Mason, and Olivia Askew all podiumed. Martin Lentz won the Snowbird Sports Education Foundation “2014 Big Mountain Skier of the Year” Award.

2013-14 Alpine Highlights

Alpine National, International and World Cup Highlights: Snowbird’s Brennan Rubie and Jared Goldberg represented the USST in the World Cup, Europa Cup and Nor Am competition. Jared placed 11th in the World Cup Super Combined at Kitzbuhel, Austria and placed 12th in the World Cup DH in Wengen, Switzerland. Brennan won several Nor Am GS’s and finished 2nd in the Nor Am GS overall standings. Brennan and Jared placed 2nd and 3rd in the US National Championship GS. Bryce Astle was close behind in 13th and won the US National Junior GS Championship title.

2014 Winter Olympic Games

Five SBSEF Alumni participating in the 2014 Winter Olyimpic Games. Kyle Darling and TJ Lanning were US Olympic Team coaches. Former Snowbird Snowboarder of the Year Faye Gulini placed 4th in the Snowboardcross competition and was the top American. Alpine ski racer Jared Goldberg placed 11th in the Super Combined, (2nd best American), and placed 19th in the GS. Conor Lyne also competed in the alpine events and was the flag bearer in the Opening Ceremonies for his native country Ireland.
