Jennifer Hoefler
Accountant
Jennifer has been heavily involved in winter sports programs. Employed for 11 years by the Snowbird Sports Education Foundation (SBSEF), a non-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Jennifer is head of the “Accounting”. In this role, she is in charge of the account payable functions for SBSEF, which provides competition and training programs for three winter sports programs – Alpine Ski Racing, Freeride, and Snowboard – in which over 275 Utah youth are enrolled each year.
In addition to working for SBSEF, Jennifer volunteers with the Utah Olympic Park in support of her two sons who are Nordic/Biathalon and Nordic Combined athletes. Since her two sons grew up in the Nordic Combined and Nordic Biathlon programs, these training venues have been like a “second home” where Jennifer developed great relationships with staff and program coaches. Jennifer has played a key role in organizing events such as World Juniors, and Jr. National competitions.”
She enjoys working with the athletes, parents, and coaches in the community to ensure these athletic programs for youth continue to be available for future generations of young athletes.
Given her work experience and her with her boys' skiing programs, Jennifer brings a wealth of relevant knowledge to the table. Prior to moving back to Utah, Jennifer worked for over 17 years in the financial services industry for Fortune 500 companies. She holds a degree in Economics as well as Business. When she is not working, volunteering, or supporting her boys at competitions all over the world, Jennifer enjoys spending time in the outdoors -- on the slopes with her husband, who is in the ski business, hiking with her amazing rescue dogs.
